Sarah Halford is a Hawaii-born artist who began her professional acting career in Los Angeles and is delighted to be home working in Paradise.
She holds her Masters in Acting from one of the top grad schools in the country, UC San Diego.
While in Los Angeles, she starred as Heather Chandler in the world premiere of Heathers: The Musical.
Other professional TV and Film Credits include: “Anger Management,”“Hawaii 5-0,” “Cristela,” “Road Hard,” with comedian Adam Carolla, and numerous national commercials.
Sarah has had experiences testing for top network pilots, and circulating with the most prominent casting directors in Los Angeles and New York.
Since moving home, Sarah has been in productions including The Last Five Years, All Shook Up, and the Hawaii premiere of Mamma Mia! at Diamond Head Theatre, for which she received a Po’okela award for her performance.
Recently, she enjoyed working on the feature film “Midway,” and a virtual reality short film “Escape to Calypso Island” with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for his You Tube channel.
Sarah has taught a variety of classes including Acting for Adults and Young Adults, Viewpoints Movement Technique, Public Speaking, Audition Technique, and Musical Theatre for children.
While in living in California, Sarah taught Acting and Public Speaking at UC San Diego. She also worked closely with Stage Left productions in Santa Barbara, and designed after school drama programs for local schools.
Sarah currently teaches after school performing arts classes called SHINE on STAGE at multiple schools around the Island. She teaches acting and audition technique to kids and adults, and is passionate about investing in other actors and creating a network of strong local artists.
